Hello! My name is Germani Yang.  This year, I am a sixth grade math and science teacher here at Thomas Starr King Middle School.

I grew up in Monterey Park, California  I went to University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) where I received my Bachelors of Science in Mathematics and Management Accounting.  I continued my education at Claremont Graduate University and received my teaching credential there, as well as my Masters of Arts in Mathematics.

To ensure that we are successful, there are two rules I like to abide by:

#1. Be RESPECTFUL  towards yourself, your classmates, and your teacher.

-Stay in seat unless excused

-Raise hand to speak

-No foul language or negative comments

-Do not talk while others are talking

#2.  Be RESPONSIBLE in your actions, attitude, and work!

-Be in your seat when the bell rings, ready to work

-Bring materials necessary for class

These are the two most important rules--good behavior will naturally follow.

Absences

You have as many days as you were absent to make up assignments for full credit.  You can also check Google Classroom.
