Welcome to the new 2021-2022 school year! Please review the resources and links throughout this page that will be used this school year. You will find information in both English and Spanish to accommodate Spanish speaking parents.

Bienvenidos a el nuevo año escolar! Por favor revise los recursos y los links en esta pagina que serán usados este año.  Usted encontrara información en ingles y español para incluir a padres que solo hablan español. 
I use Mastery Grading as my grading policy. Mastery Grading is a grading system that grades students on a scale of their mastery of certain Learning Targets.
 
Learning Targets
 
Learning Targets are based on the Common Core State Standards (to the right of this page for each grade level). There will be different assignments, which will focus on specific Learning Targets throughout the school year. 
 
Grades
 
Once a student submits an assignment, a rubric/scoring guide will be used to grade it (examples below). Final grades are not based solely on an average of all assignments, but on evidence of progression.
 
Below are some examples of homework, FlipGrid assignment, One-Pager assignments, and culminating tasks (of topics) rubrics. These are only a few of the rubrics that I use, though all are similar and follow the Mastery grading policy.

Yo uso Mastery Grading (Calificaciones de Maestría) en mi poliza de calificaciones. Mastery Grading es un sistema de calificar que enfoca la calificacion en una escala de maestria de ciertas Metas de Aprendizaje. 
 
Metas de Aprendizaje
 
Learning Targets/Metas de Apredizaje son basadas en las Common Core State Standards/Esdandares Estatales (A la derecha de esta pagina). haran diferentes asignaciones que enfocaran en especificas Learning Targets/Metas de Aprendizaje durante el año escolar. 
 
Calificaciones
 
Cuando el estudiante entregan una assignation, una rubrica/guía de marca sera usado para calificarlo (ejemplos abajo). Calificaciones finales no son basadas solamente en un promedio de asignaciones, sino en evidencia de progresión.
 
Abajo hay unos ejemplos de rubricas de tarea, asignaciones de FlipGrid, One-Pager (Una pagina), y tarea de culminación (de temas). Estos solo son algunas de las rubricas que uso, pero como ve todas son similares y siguen la poliza de Maestría.
