ABOUT MS. BENNETT (SHE / HER)

History has been my passion since I was about your age. I am very excited to dig into the past, right along with you this year, and see what we can discover about our world and ourselves. I began teaching in 1991 and since then I have taught every grade from seven to twelve. (Grades seven and eight are definitely my favorite.) The 2024-2025 school year will be my 12th year of teaching at King Middle School and I am grateful to be a part of this dedicated community of families and educators. I live in Mid City with my husband, son, and our two cats. Some of the things my family enjoys are reading, hiking, music, and watching sports. I look forward to learning more about you this school year!
