The 4th Annual King Invitational Track Meet was held on Thursday June 14th during periods 1, 2 and 3 on the new artificial turf Physcial Education field.
This year there were 70 participants representing the 6th, 7th and 8th grades. The students were invited to participate in the Invitational Mile according to their mile times. Each physical education teacher submitted 10 names for each gender and grade level. From this list 10 names for each category were selected. For several of the students this was their third invitation to participate.

8th Grade
1st place: Bryan Meza-5:50; Nancy Andrade-6:41
2nd place: Erick Campos-5:57; Guadalupe DeLosSantos-6:53
3rd place: Vincent Benedicto-6:01; Lizette Gonzalez-7:19
7th Grade
1st place: Rhys Podell-5:51; Sarah Takizawa-7:10
2nd place: Anthony Benitez-5:53; Cassidie Faus 7:19
3rd place: Travis Sevilla- 5:57; Maya Ramos-7:20
6th Grade
1st place: David Campos- 5:43; Carlotta Martinez-6:45
2nd place: Alsides Tovar-6:23; Vicki Guan-7:16
3rd place: Sergio Martinez-6:28; Hilary Valdez-7:18
It was wonderful to have several parents come and watch their student participate. All runners received medals and t-shirts for their participation.
