8th-grade students who will be attending Marshall High School, please complete the "Program and Class Preference Selection Form" and if applicable, Student-athlete form
Please take advantage of the free Internet and laptops being distributed by LAUSD. The VILs grant ends at the end of next year and with it the free data and iPad that we currently provide. Don't miss this opportunity to ensure your child has a device with Internet access that they can use for as long as they are enrolled in LAUSD.

Samantha Fujii - King Class of 2019 is a member of the USA Deaflympics Swim Team. The team won a GOLD medal in the 4 x 100 Freestyle Relay in Brazil - May 2, 2022
This past Saturday, April 2, 2022, in the Roosevelt High School Gymnasium, some of the most innovative competitors in LAUSD met for robotics supremacy during the i.am FIRST inaugural FIRST Robotics Championships. Thomas Starr King Middle School’s robotics team of Rio Cros, Finn Gehlharr, Owen Hawxhurst, Sinjin Lee, Anthony Murphy, Joshua Mexia-Azurdia, Priscilla Nguy, Anthony Serpas, and Logan Wick qualified as one of the four Middle School Teams set to compete with 16 High School teams in the 20-team field.
Last month, many GAT 8th-graders entered the California’s statewide digital photography contest “California Streaming”. Many of our students were recognized with Honorable Mention in a contest with over 600 entries, but the most exciting news is we had two, yes two, finalists! A big congratulations to William Lazio and Lily Zhuang for being two of the top eight statewide finalists!
