Dear Parents/Guardians:
We are pleased to make the official announcement that King Middle School will operate on a Traditional calendar beginning in the 2009-2010 school year! Please take note of the following important dates and information:
• The last day of school for C-Track students will be April 29, 2009. Students will be dismissed at 12:34 p.m. Intersession will be offered to C-Track students during May and June, 2009.
• The last day of school for A and B-Track students will be June 30, 2009. Students will be dismissed at 12:34 p.m.
• All permits, with the exception of Magnet and SAS will be cancelled on June 30, 2009, and students will need to attend their schools of residence for 2009-2010 school year.
• All continuing King MS students will have summer vacation. Information about available summer school opportunities will be forthcoming.
• The first day of school for the 2009-2010 school year will be September 9, 2009.
Additional information regarding the new bell schedule, daily start and end times, and Orientation for new students will be sent home and posted on the website as it becomes available.
