TS KING MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENT PROJECTS IN LOS ANGELES COUNTY OFFICE OF EDUCATION DIGITAL VOICE COMPETITION

TS King Middle School Computer Animation class student Guillermo Oviedo and 8th Grade English students Ivan Covarrubias, Noelle Gongora and Brandon Bahenahas have been selected by the The California Technology Assistance Project (CTAP) Region 11 and Multimedia Services of the Instructional Technology Outreach division at the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) as a finalists for the Digital Voice Award. Guillermo's animation project, "When Robbers Come" will be in the running for the grand prize.The student film "The Calling" by Ivan, Noelle and Brandon was selected as a winner in its category.

The winner of the competition will be announced
on Saturday, May 17, 2008 at the Digital Voice Awards Program  to be held at Wilson Middle School from 4:00-5:30 p.m. in Glendale, California. All members of the TS King Middle School Community are invited to attend the program and support our talented and creative students.

The Computer Animation class, taught by Kirk Palayan and the Eighth Grade English class taught by Connie Martin, have both produced several other awarding-winning projects.
