Last year on May 20-21, 2011, King Animation students created the Soar Mural at the Myra Underpass; a few blocks away from our school. The design was picked by the city of Los Angeles and was created by animation student, Michelle Kim. This year, the Soar Mural is currently appearing in a Mountain Dew commercial playing nationwide. Thanks to the mural getting chosen for the commercial, the producers will be donating to King Middle School and the artist, Michelle Kim. You can watch the commercial on any channel for the next few months.
