Glendale-based DreamWorks Animation SKG recently demonstrated its strong support of the educational program of T.S. King Middle School with a $1000 donation to the school animation program. The contribution was made to help with "advancing the cause of digital education."
The King Middle School Animation Program, under the leadership of Mr. Kirk Palayan, has been effective in teaching students the processes and skills needed to produce animation projects. Teachers Kirk Palayan, Connie Martin and Brandon Cabezas also have staged successful Student Film Festivals that showcased student animation and other multimedia projects at the Vista Theater.
