Last year taught us that flexibility and creativity are sometimes necessary in addressing challenges in the face of the pandemic. We want to take this opportunity to thank students, staff, and parents for all of your hard work, flexibility, support, and continued patience as we return to in-person school.
The school leadership team re-evaluated our entrance procedures and as a result, we have made changes for tomorrow that should help. Our “Fast Pass - Index Cards with Student Barcodes” were NOT scanning this morning, which made the line move slower than planned. In anticipation of the barcodes still not working, starting tomorrow, all students must present a “Super Fast Pass QR Code” each morning. This will ensure that a recent negative COVID test is on file, and we can quickly allow students on campus. The Daily Pass can be accessed at dailypass.lausd.net. If you need assistance, please contact the Parent Hotline at (213) 443-1300. (Please continue to keep the Fast Pass - Index Cards, as they are still being used for COVID testing, etc.)
We look forward to seeing students with their Daily Pass QR Code, tomorrow morning, starting at 7:30 am. Dismissal is at 3:15 pm Tuesday to Friday.
