INTERVENTION OPPORTUNITIES

In order to provide academic support for all students, King has various intervention programs in place. Our programs provide an opportunity for our youngsters to succeed in a subject that they may otherwise fail. The following is a list of programs held after school hours, that may provide your child with the support they need.

Intersession Track A: An off track intervention program for all students. It provides an opportunity for students to better their achievement in Mathematics and or English.

Friday, January 6, 2006 - Friday, February 17, 2006
Morning Session - 7:30 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.
Afternoon Session - 12:15 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
  • Algebra 1A
  • English 6th and 7th grade
  • English 8A and 7A (magnet 7th graders enrolled in Algebra)
  • Mathematics 6th and 7th grade

After School Reading Program: Purpose is to instill a love of reading, which will ultimately increase reading comprehension and language development. For selected 7th grade C-Track students based on their CST scores.
