The California English Language Development Test (CELDT) will be administered to all of the English Learners (EL’s) enrolled in ESL and English Language Arts classes at our school. This test is used both to monitor/measure ELD progress and to reclassify EL’s. The CELDT is administered to each English Learner annually until the EL has been reclassified. At King MS, over 400 students will participate in this test starting Monday, September 21, 2009. Please help these students during the testing period by encouraging them to get a good night sleep, to have breakfast, to take this assessment seriously, to do their best, and to promptly report to their designated test location when summons.
