Students will be led through a series of activities that help them to become familiar with the purposes and procedures of an archeological dig. Students will work in groups to document artifacts found in a dig and make assertions about civilization based on their evidence. Students will create a podcast that describes their experience on the trip and discuss what they have learned from the dig.
